High Efficiency Vapor Recovery Unit for Oil Depot
General Description of the Unit
This Improved Vapor Recovery Unit for Oil Depot is the original technology from Nippon Oil Corporation (ENEOS), which is the largest oil company in Japan. Our company introduce the technology in 2008 and established a joint-venture with ENEOS and SES (Japan System Engineering Services Co.) for the manufacturing of the unit in China. The unit adopted the improved absorption method using "Silicon gel + Activated carbon" for vapor recovery. It is mainly applied to vapor recovery during loading and shipment of oil for oil depot.

Typical Characteristics of the Unit
1. Special Absorbent
Different from other absorption method used in the world, our unit adopts the combined use of "Silicon gel + Activated carbon" for the vapor recovery.
As a high performance absorbent, silicon gel has the following advantages:
1) Inflammable under high temperature.
2) Not easy to be heated, thus keeping high absorption ability without causing too much heat to the bed.
3) It's conductive, thus will not produce static electricity.
4) Long service life. Some unit are already in service for 13 years without obvious aging in performance.
2. Unique internal Structure of Absorption Tower
The absorption tower of the unit is adopting cylindrical design to:
1) Control the pressure loss to the minimum;
2) Prevent drift inside the absorption tower;
3) Ensure enough contact time for better absortion of the vapor.
3. Vacuum Pump
The vacuum pump is the core equipment of the unit.
1) To ensure safe operation, our unit adopted the quanlity dry vacuum pump made in Japan to prevent the occurance of spark.
2) To prevent air entering into the pump, precise component is adopted. It is also equiped with safety system, so that when air is sucked, it will stop automatically.
4. Automatic Control System
All important process is already integrated to the control system for automatic monitoring and control for startup, operation and stop, thus avoided the possibility of manual operation errors. If the unit is deviated from preset process, the control system will release alarm, and it will automatically stop when the unit running exceeds the critical range.
5. Energy Saving
The pumps will start automatically when needed and then stop when not required, thus reduced energy consumption to the maximum.

Recovery capacity: 30~3000 Nm3/h;
Power Consumption: 0.10~0.15 kWh/m3 vapor;
Recovery Rate: ≥98%;
Content of NMHC in tail gas: less than 25g/m3;
Noise: less than 85dB.
